April XChange Open Mic and Woman's Slam

We invite you to take the stage and share your words at the ArtsXchange on April 12th, starting at 8 pm in the Robeson Theater.

Last Month's slam was rescheduled due to inclement weather April is open to female identified bodies.

This event promises a chance to win big – 1st place $100, 2nd place $75 and 3rd place $25, awaits the poet with the most points of the evening's slam. In celebration of National Poetry Month (an a rescheduling of the Women's slam), this slam is open female identified poets. Want to compete in the Poetry Slam? It's a winner-takes-all competition, so bring your A-game! 3 rounds 3 minutes 10 poets 5 judges 1 winner no props/ no music/ original work only TICKETS TO OPEN MIC $10 in advance $15 at the door The doors open at 7:30 pm, and there will be a brief open mic session before the slam, offering an opportunity for all voices to be heard.
