About the event
Well May moved in and out quickly! Welcome to Java Speaks Virtual Open Mic, taking place every Sunday night. All performances are welcome, so whether you're a seasoned performer or a newcomer, we encourage you to take part in this vibrant and welcoming community.
The night will begin with a writing workshop at 7:30 pm led by the incredible poet and writer, Daryl Funn. This workshop is an opportunity for you to hone your craft, learn new skills, and connect with other poets.
Following the workshop, we will open up the virtual mic at 8 pm, hosted by the amazing Theresa Davis. This is your chance to share your poetry with a supportive audience, and to witness the power and beauty of the spoken word.
Java Speaks Virtual Open Mic is completely free to attend, however, we kindly ask that you consider making a donation to support our ongoing efforts to bring poetry to the world. Your generosity will enable us to continue offering this platform to poets and artists from around the world.
We are so grateful for your support, and we can't wait to see you at the next Java Speaks Virtual Open Mic. Remember, every Sunday night is a chance to experience the magic of poetry and community.
