- Rounds: 3 rounds
- Time Limit per Poet: 3 minutes
- Number of Competing Poets: 12
- Judges: 5 judges will determine the winner
- Restrictions: No props, no music, only original work allowed
Prize:
- The poet with the most points of the evening's slam will win $1,000.00
- 2nd place $200.00
- 3rd place $100.00
Ticket Information:
- Advance Tickets: $15
- At the Door: $20
Tips for Participants:
- Bring your A-game, as it's a winner-takes-all competition.
- Ensure your poetry is within the 3-minute time limit.
- Remember, no props, no music, and only original work are allowed.
